Dyno tuning is not just about chasing a peak horsepower number. A proper session measures how the engine performs under controlled load and helps the tuner make informed, repeatable adjustments.

A sensible process starts with a baseline run. The team then reviews air-fuel ratio, boost, ignition behavior, temperatures and data logs before making changes. This helps identify mechanical or fueling issues that should be corrected before tuning.

Results depend on the vehicle’s condition, fuel quality, installed hardware and the calibration itself. Two similar cars may produce different results, which is why responsible tuning should be based on data from the individual vehicle—not a promised number taken from another build.
